Heelooo friends in Keene, looking for 'the move', good idea?

Hello there, how goes patriots?

Just stumbling upon this idea and little something that you guys are putting together and gotta admit, i am intrigued, so what better way than to just dive right in and say hello?  8)

and yes, it's sounds pretty close to ideal!
Hopefully if all pans out well I would like to see myself in your neck of the woods!
I am mostly looking for participation, feedback and a general sense of what to look towards upon my arrival, i am serious but not definite as of yet.

How i heard about your forum?
hmmm, not fully sure, one thing led to another which linked me to another which sparked a conversation with someone who heard about it from LRC blog and poof, had to google, had to know - so here I am. looking and wandering like the rest of ya.
Fed up with the current scene and the pursuit of happiness is as strong as could possibly be.

Welcome!

Welcome!

When you get definite, sign up at http://freestateproject.org and come on up!  8)

cool, thanks guys!!  8)

I am seriously looking for something, and I am seriously looking to join your group (if you'll have me).

I suppose I should give you a little more, as I am expecting, wanting and looking for a little more myself.

I am currently out West, and am really tired of the "norm", I have always been an anti-establishment, but never really had much to go on other than the little circle of friends and what not.
I started with Alex and Prison Planet, and got turned onto LRC about a year ago after reading Audit the Fed. I've seriously enjoyed it ever since!

Other websites and patriots and freedom fighters i enjoy:
CCHR.org
The economic collapse
Lew and Mises
prisonplanet, Watson, Nimmo, Alex et all
G. Edward Griffin
Mike Adams, mercola, et all
Off the grid news, and others.

I was really looking at van dwelling but it's not exactly the ideal scene, nor is the nomadic lifestyle up the Oregon coast either.

I am really looking for something more stable but productive too.  Not just out on my own wandering aimlessly.
I am truly interested in your organization or group or foundation, I too agree with a town takeover (or take back rather).
From what i can gather, you pretty much have it organized and together as far as, a place, but my question is, what's the actual scene like, is there a thriving bartering or trade environment?

Meaning, is anyone out there interested in putting me under a roof with providing some food in exchange for any type of work that needs to be done?
Can one survive in this manner in your neck of the woods?
Out here where I am, it's doable, but with 20 times the amount of people in your town, difference is, just not fun, the politics are … well, OFF!

Ian - thanks for you reply, i appreciate that. and will sign up!

I think it would be great if you decide to come out and get involved but I get uneasy at the expression of "joining our group".  There's really not anything to join.  I think the idea is to just come out, meet people, and get involved with the things that appeal to you.  There's really not any joining to do.

Well, there is the hazing process that you'll have to go through but that's super top secret stuph!  I can't talk about it here.

well fair enough,

In all fairness, a group is really just defined as individuals with a similar goal or purpose, but i understand your point.

alright, how about this question, i think it would be great to go out and be a part of the (potentially) greatest city in America, and i for one am intrigued!

What would be the best forum, post or person to connect up with as far as a place to stay and grub in exchange for… say:

Many hours of time consuming clean up and work.

Yard work, gutters, attic, garage, storage unit, cellar, shed, boxes, moving help, patio, cleaning up around the yard, landscaping, sweeping, sidewalks, driveway, washing, windows, siding, mowing, pruning, leaves, farming, trimming, painting, deck staining, digging, weeds, labor, cleaning of clutter and messes in any area of the house, boat cleaning and car detailing as well.

Just put me to work!

My impression is there's not enough demand for that at this time for you to fully live off of it in Keene.  You could prolly make some cash on odd jobs now and then though.  Maybe in other parts of the state you'd have more hope for finding an arrangement like that.

You should talk to Ian, he might add you to the blogger page.

Not really, there are a few people that sell art and maybe one or possibly two people that sell eggs.
Most people here (Keene) work monotonous jobs fixing/making/moving/selling corporate product.

Nope. If anyone differs, they're welcome to house the movers. It snows here and temperatures drop below 0 oF. If you do not have a shelter with a heat source to live in, you will die. Even if you manage to build something in a wooded area, the City of Keene will come after you and tear it down (as witnessed behind Hanafords, on private land).

Sounds like you'll have it better where you are than where you want to go.

And some food for thought:
"Brought to you by Carl's Jr."
"Why do you keep saying that?"
"'Cause they pay me every time I do. It's a really good way of making money. You're so smart, why don't you know that?"  :duh:

I only add proven liberty-loving activists to the bloggers page, "Oh Yeah".  I also agree that this is not a place where there are enough odd jobs to live on, at least for an activist.  There is a business called No Job Too Odd, however, and maybe they will hire you, but all the landlords are probably want to be paid in cash or maybe silver.

Might want to double-check who you think you're addressing before chastising.
Hint: Keith has 1215 posts on this forum.

Hmm… Not sure why I thought it was Keith.  He keeps changing his name and I thought this was just the latest name change.
