Heelooo friends in Keene, looking for 'the move', good idea?

I had thought "Oh yeah!" was Keith as well.  Now I know better.  (It's not Stone either)

"Stone!", thanks for calling me out on the collectivist-speak on the front page of FK.  I've changed out the copy.  Though, one could say it was accurate as the proceeds do benefit multiple people.

How is anyone (other than you, PayPal, and the IRS) supposed to know that. The donations go into the same account that you use for FTL and LRN. For some reason it eerily reminds me of some other organization that has a "general fund".

Anyone who has ever received funds for activism in Keene would know.  Plus, you can always ask.  Keith, Chris Muskus, Curtis, Andrew Carroll, Sean, and Nick Ryder, are a few recipients that come to mind quickly.  FK funds have purchased activism equipment like printers and a folding machine.  They've paid for political campaign advertising.  They've purchased FK ads on Ridley Report, Gardner Goldsmith's Liberty Conspiracy, and Free Minds TV/Radio.  They have purchased FK fliers, both the WARNING and the newer full-color postcard-size flyer.  They partially paid for the printing of the "don't take the plea bargain" fliers.  They paid for an ad on the Robin Hood notes left on cars.  They will be purchasing some ads that will be very visible, but I'm not at liberty to speak about them at this time.

Also, you are incorrect that the money that goes to FK is going into the same account as LRN and FTL.  That's not the case at all, but I understand why you'd jump to that conclusion.  After all, all three accounts are administered by me.

Please let me know where/how else you think some of the money should be spent - I'm always interested in hearing other ideas.  If there is some activism you are doing and could use some help with funds, I would appreciate being made aware.  We totally need more activism, and if it's money that is holding you back, let's talk about the idea and get it out there for discussion.  8)

My bad, it wasn't the PayPal but the Amazon referral: freetalklive-20

Yeah, that's true.  The only place that is referenced is that one ad on the website, so it hardly seemed worth creating a new Amazon associates account.  That said, Mark and I just recently started splitting the Amazon funds, whereas previously it all went to me.  Of course, I spend far more on FK from my own pocket than we actually receive in contributions, so it was certainly true that money spent through that link benefited local activism, however now that 60% of it is going to Mark, I will remove the banner.

I didn't know any of that. I was under the impression that funds derived from "Free Keene" were being used for "Free Keene", hence, the noting of "freetalklive-20".
