Welcome!

I don't think "PRK" is obvious.  I work in the People's Republic of Cambridge (Massachusetts), so I knew what the "PR" stood for.  So I was thinking "People's Republic of Kansas??"  I gogled AB962 and found it was a California thing.  So is it "People's Republic of Kalifornia?"  Why not PRC, even though it is already "taken" by China and Cambridge?

I believe the "K" gives it Russian implications, i.e. Communist-ish.

It was pretty damn obvious to me.

Welcome to the forums. Where are you in California? There's some really good people out there that just haven't moved yet.

PRC is appropriate for both Cambridge and California. That it’s the same initials as the original PRC I’ve always taken to be the main point of the joke…

visiting from the PRK   the Governator just signed AB962 (ammo registration) and I am besides myself. Wanting to hunt on so called public BLM lands but the State Park system and their anti leadership have bought up all access lands thereby eliminating hunting on massive islands of public lands. I am ready to move to a free State.  no moocher or thug here

We're here along with anything else you could want or need.  See you soon.

Welcome!  Gun owners from California will feel quite free in that area up here.

Please note, that NH is not yet free.  There is much to be done.  I look forward to your help in making it free!

Welcome, from another ex-CA.

I always heard that PRK was the Peoples Republic of Komiefonia, but it could just be the sites I frequented.

I read it as People's Republic of Korea, but understand he meant Failifornia when he said "governator"

oh yea, welcome

Your governor is a fascist but I do wish we had more governors who sometimes did stuff like this to the legislature:—
