It doesn’t sell ads.
Thin blue line, few people will turn to the side of the dog owner.
More people will be outraged about a dog being abused or killed by the police than when the police abuse or kill a human. Sigh.

Dogs are honest and mostly innocent, people are usually dissapointing. Just like a child murder is seen as worse.
