An empire loyalist passed by the NH Independence outreach booth in Keene’s Railroad Square on Sunday. She said secession would never happen and said everyone hates us, before crossing Main St. She then started walking back toward us, so I started recording. She subsequently assaulted me by attempting to grab my camera, more than once.
Thankfully, peaceful NHexit activists stepped in between us and she backed down. She then left, crossing Main St again, and made a phone call to summon Keene police. When KPD arrived, they confirmed it was indeed our right to record video in public. They also ID’d the crazy woman as Democrat activist Margaret Sawyer. Here’s the video:
