I'm a signer of the FSP Statement of intent trying to figure out if I want to make the move.
I'm currently a copy tech who is, oddly enough, very interested in the prospect of opening up a small business somewhere that is not California. Maybe if I can find a couple partners up there, New Hampshire might be that place? Anyhow, I intend to visit sometime in the next couple of months, that's something I am definitely looking forward to 
Certainly possible you could find some partners but doing so from out of state without a reputation might be a challenge. If you are planning on visiting in a couple of months, it will be very close to Liberty Forum time. Might be a good opportunity to meet a bigger crowd of people and network a bit.

Thanks Ian,
I think getting up there for a visit and talking with people up in the Shire is the only way to know for sure. I also have to do what's best for the business I'm looking to open up. I'm hoping to find a couple of partners somewhere to open up a "Video Games and More" kind of store that also puts on events like gaming tournaments and things like that. Basically a place where geeks can come together as a community. If that kind of place can be successful in New Hampshire and if I can find a couple business partners who want to embark on this venture with me, I'd be 100% ready to make the move immediately :D.
That sounds awesome. You should definitely come up - and let us know in advance when and where you'll be arriving.
