Hey everyone, we're "State of Liberty", a documentary being shot at Keene State College about local activism and the Free State movement. We're seniors and juniors at Keene State and this is for our Senior Production class. We've shot various days, including Chalk the Police, Occupy Keene, and Occupy Wall St. We're always looking for events to film or people who'd like to be interviewed, giving their opinions on the movement or anything relating to the protests. If anyone has ideas or would like to talk to us, feel free to contact us here or through e-mail, StateofLibertyFilm@gmail.com
Hope to hear from you guys, thanks!
You are welcome to come to the Cheshire County House of Corrections tomorrow where I will be submitting to jail time rather than paying the State for fines for not registering my vehicles. I have to go in at 5 but plan on being there by 4 for a sign wave/protest. My name is Michele Seven if we haven't me already. Peace.
Thanks for posting this, State… Are you going to be posting your raw / semi raw tape on YouTube relatively soon after shooting it? And will your crew be granting the public some sort of permission to make use of the video? Can I use the video on my channel?
In my experience most documentaries that get initiated…never get completed. Most of the video ends up never being seen, and the process ends up being a misuse of time for all involved. But yours could be an exception, even if it doesn't complete.
You can make sure that it's worthwhile for everyone regardless… by publicly posting at least some of your semi-raw tape within a week of shooting it ,and granting permissions or putting it in the public domain. That's what I essentially do with my video.
This would also create buzz about your project and more viewers. What do you think of this idea?

Any upcoming events we can possibly come and film?

I feel like Derrick has a trial on Wed, but I'm not positive.
