A. What exactly are you marching in favor of (in the NH one at least)? NH has some pretty good gun rights, however, there are down points. Are you focusing on those?
B. From your website: "(date is reserved, but we are awaiting permit approval)". Look at yourselves. You're asking for the government to "permit" you to march in opposition to some of the government policies. Is that how the founding fathers you revere got things done? Asked Britain for a permit to revolt?
C. Also from your website in the same vein: "After speaking with D.C. police and the National Park Service, we decided that it would be logistically difficult to stage an actual "march". We would rather put our time and energy into making the rally the best that it can be!" … k. Way to send a message. Do whatever the police want
"The mission of the Second Amendment March is to galvanize the courage and resolve of Americans"

D.C. Second Amendment March Rules and Code of Conduct
1. NO UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARMS.
2. If you do not intend to comply with item #1, do not attend.[/quote]
Wow, excellent observations, Coconut. So sad. Americans are so obedient and they wonder why they are so taxed and controlled. They allow every bit of it because they are too scared to do anything further than beg for freedom.
Ken, you may be new to forums on the internet, and you're certainly new here. The appropriate way to enter into any online community is not with a promotional message - you'll come off looking like a spammer. That said, I understand your event is coming up shortly and you will likely find gun freedom advocates here. However, we're also ALL freedoms advocates, so you can expect to have your beliefs challenged. Welcome to the forum, and hopefully you will do more interacting than just drop in to promote events. Are you from Keene?

Actually, that is what the Founders did. Their original intention was never to revolt; they just wanted to be treated the same as English subjects who lived in England. The Revolutionary leaders rigidly followed the various laws and rules, and tried to get the government to do the same. They did this for years, until it became clear to them that the government was never going to do the right thing, and then they went to a different sort of activism. NH, of course, was first, and Mass joined in a few months later, with the rest of the colonies coming in at their leisure.
Hello Ken! Welcome to the forum!
