Hello everyone!
I was born and raised in Lancaster, CA. I am truly a desert rat as my name suggests. I have gotten very attached to the high desert. All my best friends and most of my family lives very close to me. Its going to be a huge change for me coming to New Hampshire, probably the hardest thing; being so far from my family and friends.
I really began my slow progression toward liberty when I started going to college. I used to be one of those terrible Neo Cons. It wasn’t until I learned so much about our foreign affairs through the lens of my brothers, who were in the Navy during operation Iraqi freedom that I started to wake up to the reality. I realized the US has become just another empire, and probably the most tyrannical empire to face the world.
I became a minanarchist libertarian after discovering Ron Paul in 2008. The more I read and the more mature I became into my mid twenty’s, led me on a very difficult transition to become an anarchist. I realized the full application of the NAP must ultimately lead to the complete elimination of the state. I believe a combination of activism, politics, and technology are all avenues we must utilize for the peaceful dismantling of the state. Controversially, I will even suggest libertarians take up employment in their local Governments, and even the Federal Government. Some of the most entrenched people work for the state, infiltrating these work places and talking to them about the ideas of liberty can be of great value to our movement. It also gives you access to insider information not available to the public. I have great personal experience in this matter, and have reached a lot of people that otherwise would never have heard of our ideas and the philosophy. I am certainly not a pacifist either, defensive force is an appropriate action when aggressed upon with violence. I’m a huge advocate of the safe and proper handling of fire arms, and that people who own them should be as well trained in their use as time allows.
I started to have a huge interest in moving to New Hampshire since 2012 with the passing of the NDAA and the continuing erosion of my freedoms in California. It wasn’t until this year that I finally had the means to make the move. I have made some pretty big investments here to make the transition become much easier. I am very happy that starting this September, I will be a part of the Free State. I found out about the shire society through Mark Warden of Porcupine Real-Estate. He’s been so helpful in providing information to help me in my move. He suggested I come here to look for temporary residence until I find a more permanent dwelling.
I look forward to helping advance our cause, making new friends, and making my first purchase with BitCoin.
