What is a reason of such prohibition?

It would be in excess for you to have gun knowledge. It’s for your own good to be just smart enough to run the “machines”. Focus on doing what you’re told. 3 weeks vacation/year is pretty good. Plan for retirement at 69. Bad thoughts will be removed for you here in the land of the free.
