Should be there by March 2016

My wife, I and our soon to be son Due July 13 2015 are moving to New Hampshire in March of 2016. We did not want to wait that long but with the baby coming and having to sell our ranch here in Pahrump, NV It’s going to take some time to get Moved. We are both believers in the NAP and Self Ownership, and take a firm stance against the state (The state is our only true enemy). We love animals and living a clean life close to the earth. We are avid shooters (mostly tactics training, not plinking) We have never been to NH so we are selling our place here and buying a fifth wheel to live in for a while so we can check the state and find the right area for us to settle and start another Ranch or Farm. We love seeing all the activism going on there (even if it not or style activism). I have done a wide range of work from Bartending, Food Serving, Dealing (Any Poker Related Games), Construction, Heavy equipment (Mostly Forklift and Backhoe), Automotive work, and i’m sure there is some I missed. My wife is a stay at home soon to be mom. who gives me a lot of help in projects and is just a truly amazing person.

I found the Shire Society through Chris Cantwell who then lead me to FTL

Welcome, Shawn and congrats on the big decision to sell your property there and move to the Shire!

Greetings Shawn and Wife,

My husband and I will likely be moving to the Shire as well. We’re headed out next month for Porcfest and will be travelling all around to make sure it’s the right place for us. We also love to shoot and train, and will be going through Pahrump to use our Frontsight memberships for the first time when we head back to Oregon to grab our belongings, once we make the decision to move to the east coast. The fifth wheel idea sounds like a very good one - we plan on camping out of our SUV as we usually do when we travel. I think I’ll check out this fifth wheel idea, though…

I’m a vegan chef, and my husband has trained others in martial arts, firearms, etc. We both have trained folks in psychological/philosophical self-defense, and enjoy doing so very much. We also have a '77 Corvette that we are teaching ourselves mechanics on.

Glad to know some folks with some similar interests will be heading East. Safe travels to you both.
