Searching for a better way of living

Hi, my name is Greg and my wife and I have recently been discussing dramatic changes in our life, including relocation, to find a more healthy and rewarding path for our family.  We currently live in Columbus, Ohio and we’ve built a nice little life - nice house, good job, best public schools in the state, good friends, a few hours’ drive from some of our family, etc.  But we’re looking for something more - better access to healthy foods and activities, less stress, more control over our kids’ education, more community, and real, tangible liberty.

I found this group through the FSP website.  I’ve been following the progress of the project for several years and it’s something I’ve dreamed about doing.  But with such a change comes a lot of challenges and fears.  I’m worried that a change in location will not provide the opportunities we’re seeking and that roll of the dice will be all for nothing.

First off, tell Bill Watterson I say “hi!” and thanks for the lifelong thought experiments and lessons.

Secondly, if you haven’t watched “101 Reasons Liberty Lives in New Hampshire”, then watch it as it may answer many of your questions and concerns.

I hope to meet you in the Shire someday.

Greg,

Look me up.  I am still here in Columbus.  The wife is generally negative on NH but we have only just started to talk about it.  She is apolitical, and that is actually a good thing.  Meet for coffee anytime!
