So I am an Nh native and have been a huge libertarian since 2007 when Ron Paul had the nerve to run for president and actually talk some sense at the same time. Basically the whole federal government makes my skin crawl especially the po- lice and I totally welcome free staters, occupiers and the like into my home state, god knows we need more people with functioning brains. I heard about the FSP because I live here! And just about anyone who lives here and is interested in alternative politics knows about you guys.
Cool - how did you hear about the Shire Society?
Hello, Leia
Awesome! Love to hear NH natives are into liberty! Welcome.
Welcome Leia!
Hello your worshipfulness. ^-^
What causes are you involved with and/or interested in? What part of the Shire do you call home? I'm in Grafton.
Hi guys!
Good to meet you all, I am living in the small town of Hillsboro right now but I have a place lined up and am moving to keene very soon. Super excited to be in the center of the action. I am ready and willing to help the cause of liberty in any way I can. I am most passionate about protecting the rights of citizens, restoring the constitution and holding government officials and police officers accountable. My mom was killed by the police last year, (and they lied about it of course) so I know what it is like to be the victim of their uneccessary violence. Basically I feel like everyone is equal and if some random gunman had killed my mom they would be in jail but this guy just gets a two week vacation because he's a cop and that is so not fair. Anyway, I've known about the shire society for a long time, I am so glad you all picked New Hampshire because I love this state and can think of no better place to grow a free society. Let me know if I can help with any activism projects/ events. My friend and I are going to try to protest the election on November 1st, so come out and see us if you want!

Wow. I'm sorry to hear about your loss at the hands of law enforcers. Did this receive media coverage and, if so, can you post links to it. I'd certainly like to educate myself more on this situation. Many of us have personal stories of law enforcement gone wild but nothing this tragic. I'm so glad you chose to deal with it in a peaceful manner and joined this forum.
Welcome native! I relocated from Florida about 6 months ago! Looking forward to meeting you! peace and love!

This was a great article by Anne-Marie Timmons of the Concord Monitor. It was part of a series on police shootings in New Hampshire. Apparently there were so many in 2011 that the media was all over it.
