Hello .
My name is Chris and I currently live in Illinois … but NH was on my short list before I ever heard of the FSP. Finding out about the liberty minded people moving there made it my number one choice for a place to live away from the socialist / fascist / neocon zombies I am around now .
I found out about FreeKeene ( and everything else going on in NH ) from Dave Ridleys youtube channel … his video with Russell K and himself "not getting detained" by cops for O/C on his way to Murphy's tap was the first video of his I saw and after watching a few dozen of them (especially the one with Lauren C getting dragged by those thugs ) I knew I belonged in NH
I registered here in June last year but had lurked a few months before that . Love this place even though I believe the owners are to generous with the gun polishers and those who seem to get turned on by thoughts of violent interaction with the bureaucrats. I have received a real education here , have had core beliefs challenged and changed … and am a better man for it. So many smart and articulate people here , almost every one of you friendly and polite . I do not think I have seen very many forums as well behaved as those about the the goings on in NH .
Every one likes a label so if I had to pick I would at present call my self a minarchist . I know most here seem to be anarchists … and I am not there yet… hope I would still be welcome at Abunara's(sp?) to break falafil .
I would also like to say that i was unaware I was breaking the rules by getting involved in discussion with things unrelated to moving to Keene or activity inside of Keene … I will stop that now . I have always respected private property. I just have a hard time with people talking about burning down homes and destroying the property of others … to be honest I am not sure I will not get in on those threads again … but I will at least make an effort . Maybe. ;D
I was a monthly paypal supporter until last month … I canceled all my subscription donations as I just had to damn many places i was supporting … both within the liberty movement and places unrelated but plan to begin donating again soon . I also use a bit of bandwidth over at the Freetalk BBS … but am scared to register there … they have professional trolls … lol.
About what I would get involved with in NH .
I have a few ideas I would persue … would support almost every act of civdis I have read about here even though I did not understand / agree with every one at first . I would be very big with FIJA , most likely help out with any peace protests and those levitation attempts look like fun. Would always be ready to protest outside the jails … love the idea of letting those inside they have your support . Basicaly up for anything that I can do with out acting out in a hostile manner or getting anywhere near violent.
Lastly I really look forward to being able to socialize with like minded people … I have almost no one around me who understand what liberty really means … and it drives me a bit loopy sometimes .
I will avoid hostile and violent people , they bore me and quit frankly I feel the are a danger to those around them . Good thing is there do not seem to be many of them around and the ones currently there get the cold shoulder from what I understand.
I am on YIM most of the time so look me up if you want to chat in real time … I hung out in the chat here a lot but only got to chat with a couple people … mostly that guy Luke from Michigan … and that was not a lot of fun.

Welcome Chris! We have places for discussing things unrelated to moving or Keene, specifically the "Outside the Keene Area" section. If you have not gotten a warning or message from a mod informing you that you have done wrong, I would not worry about it.
