I'm no good at introductions. But I suppose a little about myself would be in order.
I'm from Plaistow, NH, which is adjacent to haverhill, MA. I'm pretty active in my community, as much as one person can be. It doesn't seem that there are a lot of liberty-minded people around here, though I'm sure I just haven't looked hard enough.
As for activism, I've been elected Town Auditor two years running as a write-in candidate, (here in Plaistow all you need to be elected are two votes, and you must be registered to vote. which last year my only "competition" was not.) So my five votes was more than enough. I haven't been sworn in, but have submitted one report for 2008, and am currently working on the 2009 report. I'm not even sure what a town auditor really does, but I get access to all the town's financial records. It's amazing what some of the departments spend on useless things.
Aside from that, there's just the usual leafletting, flyers, non-cooperation, and of course any civil disobedience I attempt has cleverly been summed up as "just trying to get attention," because I have quite an odd personal relationship with the PD here. Three drug related arrests, and zero convictions.
Well now I'm lost for words, I suppose that's as good an introduction as I can throw at you for now.
Look forward to meeting lot's of people! I'll be visiting weekly starting tomorrow. I have no plans, but I'll be in keene at least once a week until I make the move. If you'd like to meet-up just let me know, and I'll get back to you ASAP!

That's an interesting background. Check the calendar for events you can attend while in Keene. You will definitely want to attend Social Sundays to meet the other activists. There's an Open Government day thread you may find interesting too.
