Hello everyone. My name is Jackie and I'm a newbie.
I signed up for the FSP today. I recently lost my job, so I'm trying to find a new one asap to move to NH. This whole area is very dependent on the government either in the form of government jobs or some kind of welfare. Thus there isn't a lot of growth so finding a job is tough, but I'm committed. 
I thought I'd come by here and see what the locals are like and get a feel for the area.
Well, of the four locals I've spoken with that identified themselves as locals, one is an unrepentant communist, one is a stubborn coffee shop owner who doesn't like some of our methods, one is a pretty cool but somewhat misguided lady, and the other is bil (he's pretty cool, too).
So, assuming that's a representative sample, Keene's got all types.

I almost decided to not make the move when I learned of the lack of media jobs in the area, but usually I can accomplish anything if I put my mind to it. I like the idea of living with Libertarians as the Socialists that live around here are about to put me in the loony bin.
