Hello everyone. I am new to the forums, but I have been watching and joining into the liberty movement for several years now.
My name is Adam Brisebois, I live in Hudson. Some of you may have met me or friended me on Facebook. I am a commercial sailing Electronics Technician who spends 8 months a year at sea on a 10 week on / 5 week off rotation. I am a US Navy Veteran (1998-2007) and have been evolving politically since about 2007 when I had a discussion with a new friend about liberty and the Libertarian party. I am an outspoken supporter of civil and personal rights, and while I will never initiate any form of conflict with another, I have no problems defending myself, my family, my friends, or others whom I would hold dear if they were violated.
I consider myself a Libertarian, but I am slowly moving towards anarcho-capitalism as I lose my last remaining faith that our "government" could be saved by the right people.
I am here to talk with like minded people, and have intelligent discussions about topics which I consider important. I am here to teach and learn about liberty. Hopefully people will benefit from my experiences as I will benefit from theirs.
I first heard of the Shire Society through Derrick J's Victimless Crime Spree (which I heard about through a Facebook post from a friend in the FSP. I have been a supporter of the Free State Project since I found out about it shortly after moving to NH for the same reasons FSP exists.
Hope to get to know all of you better.
In Peace,
Adam
Excellent! Nice intro. Welcome.
Hi Adam,
You should come to the Nashua liberty social event on Sunday's. There is a facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/NashuaLibertySocial/
They meet at The Peddler's Daughter in downtown Nashua. Come introduce yourself!
Helio, I went to one a few weeks back. Sunday nights are difficult, but I want to make it to at least one more before I head to sea again April 1st.
You can't miss me, I'm always wearing a big black Stetson, and open carrying a Ruger .44 Stainless Revolver.
I'm a member of the Nashua Liberty on FB already.
Thanks for the Welcome!
