Hey, Keeniacs, my name is Tom, and I just moved to the Free State this past week from Florida. I've been around the forums and site for a while now, and I'm impressed with Keene's great activism. I'd imagine I've already met a lot of posters this past Social Sunday, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better! I'm going to be staying in Manchester with some fellow activists, but I want to make sure to keep in contact with everyone in Keene; I should be visiting often. I would consider myself to be an agorist primarily (I'm a creature of the black market), but Rothbardian radicalism and D.H. Thoreau's Civil Disobedience have been a huge influence on my thought. My primary issues are medical/drug freedom, the right to bear arms, jury nullification, and general harassment of the state and its pawns. I hope to find opportunity in NH as a writer, journalist, or essayist; I am also skilled at editing, and am looking for someone who would have a need for these abilities.
Welcome Tom, nice meeting you this weekend.
Welcome to New Hampshire. Hopefully we'll see you at Taproom Tuesday next week!
Another Floridian leaving the comfort of Fl, for the freedom in NH.
Aww, it wasn't comfy down there - it was hot as fuck most of the time. I don't miss it.

You forgot humid, with the occasional hurricane.
It's humid here too sometimes. That doesn't bug me. Hurricanes suck.

Were you a home owner down there? That would account for not liking the hurricanes. I wasnt, and loved em. Cancels the status quo, opens up plenty of free market opportunities, provides a great excuse for a party. Go Hurricanes!
Yes, and have had hurricane parties too. Luckily, Sarasota never got a direct hit.
OK, well, humid isn't a problem, until you combine it with hot!
Welcome to the forums Tom!
Welcome, Tom!
i can't deny that Fl was a comfy place to live, for me anyway. Being able to walk around in board shorts and flip flops was nice. But I made up for it by having all you fine people surrounding me and backing me up and vice versa.

You can still do that here. Just not right now.

Some people still do it right now. Drive by the college. :duh:
I want to see them do it tomorrow in the middle of the snowstorm.
Welcome Tom! Manch is nice but Keene is where it all happens! No matter what, I'm glad you are in the less enslaved area, with less enslaved individuals.

Well, some of us are trying to make Manchester where a lot of it happens, too. ;D
