New here from Texas

I am a part of the FSP and that's how I got here. I am now living in Texas but will be moving that way sometime around spring of 2013. IM 29, have a wife and 2 kids.

I work at Olive Garden so I would be making a transfer to one in NH. I have come here basically to ask questions, get to know people in this area, get some inside scoup information and maybe a place to live. Thanks for having me and I look forward to meeting others.

For Liberty!

Welcome to the forum.

If you work at the Olive Garden, could you work at another restaurant? I've known servers, bartenders and managers who were easily able to find a similar job at a different restaurant for around the same or even more pay. That even seems to be a pattern. Good servers and bartenders try to go to restaurants where they can make more money. With respect to that point, the Olive Garden isn't 1 of the highest restaurants in NH so there might be room for upward mobility.

That's an important point to make, I think. As you likely know, there aren't many Olive Gardens in New Hampshire.

Thank you for that insight. I would love a better pay and job with Liberty minded managers and Co workers. That is deffenly a plus. I know that there is an Olive Garden in Keene so this is a saftey net for me for sure.

I have a American Pit bull terrior dog. Females nice as can be around 55Lbs. Any places that will allow dogs is nice. Please keep an eye out. She is fixed, shots and the whole 9 yards.

Hey Kory,

Welcome to the Shire Society Forum! Look forward to meeting you in NH!

Thank you! Can't wait to get there.

Welcome!  Don't forget to check the Keene housing subforum for some links to get you started on finding a place to live that can handle animals.

Thank you.

I would love to get a 4-5 bedroom house to rent and have 1 roomate. Have the 1 roomate pay 500-550 a month in rent. If anyone is looking to move and be a part of the FSP please have them contact me. I will be moving in March-April of 2013.

Awesome. I hope to meet you soon.

Let us know when you make the move so we can help you unload all your things.
