My mandatory self-introduction

Hi everyone.

I am close to 50 and have been living in the Boston area for over 30 years. When the SHTF and there is collapse and civil unrest etc., being in a densely populated area is not good. I had been looking at other states with more freedom than Massachusetts, but I’m looking more at NH now. (However, I have seen some remarks online about NH being very police-statish now in law enforcement and family courts, but I think that’s a reflection of all over Amerika.) But I definitely want to live away from heavily populated areas. I’m not married and live alone, and would like to relocate, but don’t want to do that alone. I generally don’t like to travel, but getting out of Boston will be a good idea.

I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs, and I believe in non-aggression as a guiding principle, as well as private property and voluntary exchange, and localism and decentralization. I agree a lot with Ron Paul, Hans Hoppe and Carl Watner. And I work from my home computer.

I found Shire from a post on the FSP forum.

Welcome JerryB,

NH does have some negative, draconian laws, but much less than other states. As you are currently in Boston, the move to NH would not be as dramatic as my move from Tampa, Florida. LOL! I have been in NH now for 7 months and I am loving it. It is incredibly beautiful here and there are so many great people and groups here. You can be as involved as you want. Also, there are many places in NH that aren't nearly as populated as Boston. I live in a small town 20 miles from Keene. I love it here! Incredibly beautiful area!

Hope to see you here soon!

Peace & Love,

Emberlea

NH has issues, but it's the best starting point to move liberty forward.  The more people here who love freedom and are active, the better off we'll be.  Come on up!
