Hello my fellow liberty friends. My name is Dennis Andrews. I have been following the Ridley Report, the LCL Report, ect. I have always felt that freedom is something that must be practiced or you loose it. Were I live there are no activist that I'm aware of. And I just want to live in a place where people have the same values that I do. I am a carpenter and salesman. If there's anyone out there that has job connections in those areas please let me know. My address is ....dennis71220@yahoo.com Thanks …Dennis ;D
Welcome. Are you considering moving to NH?
Chris, check the subject.
Welcome Dennis. Look around the forum for the jobs subsection - some useful stuff there. With the nature of construction workers, it shouldn't be hard to find work up here, though I imagine it can be seasonal. Not that I know jack squat about carpentry.
Syd's Carpet and Snooze Room was looking to hire a salesman recently. If you can sell, I'd imagine there are such opportunities. Monadnock Radio Group seems to usually be on the hunt for new blood.
Welcome Dennis! You're about to join the best community in [insert arbitrary geographical region here]
Welcome! Where in Louisiana are ya from? My partner was born in Arcadia but spent most of his 'formative years' in Lafayette.
Ayyyyy-eeeeeeeeeeee!
Excellent!
After I move, I plan on having a couple of crawfish boils per year. Getting a 40 pound bag overnight isn't cheap, but it will be worth it.
Thanks for the replys all. I am from a small town in North East Louisiana called Bastrop. I do plan on moving to Keene and help with the Freedom Movement. I have two grown children that live in Waterville Maine and I can be close to them and follow my heart with the activism. My Son , who is 26 and 4 girls, has some of the same feeling I do about freedom. Maybe I can get them to move there if things go well. My daughter, lives in Maine as well, is 24. I welcome any discussion and advise on the move there.
If you don't have a savings built up or are not independently wealthy/self-employed then finding a job is obviously first priority and I suggest you do as much hunting as you can before moving here. The housing market is a little tight but a landing strip can be found fairly easily and then you can plan on finding a better residence if you desire, later. As far as the community, all you have to do is show up to one or more the events and you will have a chance to meet and network.
The summer is the best time to move for housing reasons. The students have vacated and left a lot of vacancies. Most landlords would prefer non-students when possible.

Hello Dennis
I am also from Louisiana and considering a move to New Hampshire. Right now I am in Keene. We just returned from Porcfest. You will really like the summers up here. The highs are in the 80's and the lows are in the fifties and there are no chiggers up here.
I live in NW Louisiana. If you would like to contact me my email is thunderdave@aol.com. We will be returning to louisiana in about a week.
hello and welcome , i was down in st bernards parish after katrina and some of the locals cooked up a huge spread of home cooked cajun food for us that was awsome and ever since then ive had a craving for real cajun food !!
