Moving In April And New To Forum

Don't mind this copy and paste, but this is what I wrote on the Free State Project forum as well, but figured it summed things up just fine.

Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself since I am new to this forum, and soon to be in New Hampshire! Well, I say that I'm "new" because I'm now posting, though, I've been on here countless times reading about my future home, and friends.

My name is Everett McKee, and I'm a 27 year old from Northern Indiana. I was introduced to the Free State Project by Free Talk Live back in early 2006, and am pretty damn happy I'm finally going to be heading to the East Coast to be a part of it! I keep updated on the goings on through FTL, FreeKeene.com, the Ridley Report, Obscured Truth, and various other sites and videos, and just love what has already taken place. I'm heading out on the 21st of April, just bc I want to celebrate 420 with my friends before I go :-), and I'm a musician who will be beginning a small tour of the East before settling down in the Free State. Needless to say, I'm hoping to hear from you current Free Staters about every day life as freedom activists, and as New Hampshire residents in general.

Anyways, thanks for taking time to read this, and I look forward to the day I get to meet you all.

peace
everett.

Hello and welcome.  ;D

Thanks, Pat!

Welcome. What do you play?

Hey, Capuzzo. Thanks! I play acoustic guitar, and sing. I have more mellow tunes, I guess you can say. If you care to check out a few demos I've put up, you can at myspace.com/everettmckeemusic. I'm excited to get out that way, and become a part of the music scene. I'll be looking to hook up with other musicians with a similar taste to just jam with, or even start a little group, if anyone is interested. So, if you play, or know of anyone who does, let me know!

Thanks again!

Welcome.  Cooper, Josh, and Lou are all in a band together.  Luthor is also very musically inclined.

I just love seeing people show up and say they are moving soon in their first post.  2010 is going to be a great year thanks to people like you Everett.  Congrats on your decision.

Welcome

I like your music – and welcome

Ian, Dale, and ttie, thank you guys! I really look forward to meeting you all. I haven't even set foot in New Hampshire, and it already seems so easy to recognize the wonderful community of people I'll soon be surrounded by. Just a few months away! I'll be sure to roll up a fatty for the welcome party.

welcome, depending on where you end up living in NH I might be up for some jams some time. I play guitar (acoustic and electric), sing and can do bass and drums at a basic level. I'm in a local band The Regular Cannons (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Regular-Cannons/338308880366) and I would love to see more liberty minded musicians around here. Good luck with the move and the tour by the way

I am in Manchester and look forward to meeting you there. Probably at  a Tap Room Tuesday ( lots and lots of great people in this neck of the woods too as I am sure you know ). But if not at porcfest for sure!!! Welcome!!!

GM: Hey, man, thanks! I'll definitely hit up a Tap Room Tuesday soon after arriving in New Hampshire, so I'll be sure to post when I'll be there. And, you better believe I won't be missing the PorcFest! I still haven't decided which part of NH I'll be settling in, but I'm leaning towards the Keene area. But, who knows!

Olozzalap: I'll check out your page right after I post this. Thanks for sharing your music! That'd be great to do some jamming sometime. Once I hit NH, we'll have to see if we can't make that happen! I've heard from a handful of musicians already, so that's pretty exciting. I see nothing but good things coming.

congrats on your decision. It's an amazing experience.

Thank you very much, Michael. I do not doubt that at all! I'm ready!

Welcome! ;D

Hey, J'raxis! Thanks, dude!

welcome!  it sounds like you're already in on everything but the day to day interaction with people.

Less then three months from now, and I'll be shaking hands with everyone!
