I for one welcome racists and bigots to be more vocal so they can be identified quicker. It is easier to decide with whom to interact with.
As for threatening someone with a promise to be violent is not a crime that requires jail time, but perhaps one that needs a ‘time-out’ and not paid for by Tax payers but actioned by private police.
I agree.
@TheLive1 A direct threat is a crime and I believe it should be. The issue here is he never did. He was just being an angry racist. That’s fine, makes it easy for me to ignore you in the future.
Maybe it should be like S.Korea when an idol or actor does something wrong. They get a finger wag and a timeout on their career to “think about what they have done”. They go dark for a while then come back, usually not doing what they did to get in trouble in the first place.
Dude, I purposely used the words ‘not a crime that requires jail time’ and that it needs a ‘time-out’ & something ‘not paid for Tax payers’.
I think we sort of agree. My intent is just trying to keep the State out of it.
The thing here is that the guy that made the threats, the son of a judge, was never charged with anything. And someone else was.
Authorities concede Michael Slawson, the son of a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, left an anti-Muslim voicemail at a mosque, but he has not been charged with any crime.
