I am currently living in Southern Virginia. After years of participating in the system with the hope of some politician actually attempting to make some changes in the direction of Liberty, I have come to the conclusion that it's never going to happen and that most people are not even interested in Liberty. They seem content to let "their team" (whichever political party they support) take charge and I and those who care about Liberty are simply ignored or called Kooks. As a result of Ron Paul's (who I supported) recent attempt to challenge the idiots, I began to search out some kindred souls who believed as I do that Liberty and limited (severely) government are the only way freedom and prosperity can exist.
I stumbled upon the free state project a few years ago but didn't seriously consider the concept until recently. After further consideration and recent events in my personal life, I am contemplating a move to New Hampshire in support of the Free State Project and was looking for suggestions on a good time to visit and find out about the area and meet some of the Liberty minded people who have already made the move.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

You definitely belong in New Hampshire. The system isn't going to be saved. It's going to crash and burn. Best to be surrounded by as many like-minded people as possible when that day happens.
Welcome! Anytime is a good time to come up and visit, just make sure you let us know here and via Porc 411 regarding your plans. The two best times are probably Liberty Forum and Porcfest.
