Hello Shire,
Part of my New Years resolution was to work harder at networking on line, connecting with like minded individuals. Before now I have just been active on youtube, but have just recently joined Facebook and the FSP with hopes of making contact with people in the Shire. I will be driving from Vancouver Canada to the Shire solo with plans on exploring the state for about 3 weeks. I'm going to arrive one week before Porcfest and will leave one week after. I hope to check out Keene, Manchester and Grafton, but would love any help, from welcoming FSP members, getting to know the area and people. My big game plan is to see if once I am debt free and mobile, would I want to live there and can I afford to live in the Shire as an illegal? Please send me a message if you would like to meet up once I get there. If you would like to know more about me please visit my youtube channel, tbottruth, as I have recently started a vlog sharing my thoughts. All facebook friend requests are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks
Terry

Welcome!
Hello and welcome. It would be heroic for you to move here without begging permission. Keep in mind these forums are public and monitored actively by state agents.
Isn't the internets wonderful? Say hi to the friends you didn't know you had.
Great job moving forward with an achievable resolution.
Hope to see you at PorcFest, its amazing how fast that event goes by.
Are there many liberty minded folks in Canada?
-Keith
Ya Keith I'm excited and can't wait for Porcfest but I'm kind of nervous about driving across the continent to a place where I don't know anyone. This will be a good test of pulling this INTJ out of his introvert shell. Hopefully I will meet lots of great people. The philosophy of liberty is not prevalent in Canada, most people I speak with haven't even heard of libertarianism, never mind voluntaryism or anarcho-capitalism. When I do try to tell them about it, I usually get a shrug of the shoulders or some serious eye diverting with blank looks implying, what the fuck are you talking about, why so serious, isn't there a Canucks game on?. Canada is a really lonely place for a hardcore liberty lover. To feel normal or to fit in I really have to suspend all critical thought and just focus on finding enjoyment in simple meaningless bullshit entertainment and carefully traverse the gossipy discussions most people up here care about having. Apathy and indifference to authority is rampant in Canada and everywhere I go I see lots of people who are thoroughly influenced by culture. With each person I interact with, especially working in sales, I loose a little more hope for ever finding liberty in my lifetime. Maybe Porcfest will recharge my batteries and rekindle my optimism for the future.
