Hi everyone. I'm John Ringer, and gee where to start. I'm old. I'm 52. I've been a libertarian for about 30 years. I've done activist stuff, the kind where you can get into trouble, but I won't mention it here. I live in Maryland. Right now my main thing is a crazy idea to take over American pop culture with a song. (would you rather go rifles against tanks?) Non violence right? No, just getting defensive re my idea. So anyway, I, being nobody in the music business, am not going to get a song played on the radio. So I came up with this idea to send the song to country radio stations, since it is a country/rock song, then I put up a web page, state by state, with a list of all the radio stations that have the song, along with contact links and e mails for all the (presumably) angry Americans to request the song. Honestly, I'm getting good public response to the song, and some people "get it" and comment that it needs to be played coast to coast. On the downside, it's almost requiring me to send e mails to the whole country one by one. So right now, a number of New Hampshire radio stations have the song, including one in Keene. I'd kinda say if I can't get the Free Staters to get on board with this, I'm not going to get anybody, but that's not necessarily true.
So that's why I'm here. Radio stations all play the same stuff, and if the song could get played in one place it makes it easier to get it played somewhere else. I want it played in Washington DC , during the day. I want all the government workers and politicians and statists and their attack dogs to realize that THAT SONG is what's big now. Any place that can get this song played is designated "enemy territory" to statists and new World Orderers. This is not about any music career stuff, I don't have a music career.
So, tired of Smeg and some of your other buddies and my friends getting arrested? Give 'em the song. You might also be able to get it played in the Greenfield Mass. listening area.
You want to hear about this or not? You can find it with the information I've given, but I won't post any links.
How about the title? I don't feel like googling your entire post to sift out the song.
I don't understand what you're trying to do here. How good can your publicity campaign be if you can't even give the name of the piece you're selling?

I think he didn't want to come across as a spammer. You know, just make an account to promote some off-topic subject with a link.

Yes, didn't want to come off as a spammer, especially considering the forum says it prefers topics actually relevant to Keene, even more so from people who don't live there. I respect all of you and what you are doing and want to maintain a good relationship. I'm sponsoring Liberty on Tour with Adam and Pete. They can tell you all you want to know about the plan. I don't quite know how I'll approach trying to get the local activist population to demand the local Keene radio station, or other stations in NH , play the song, forgetting about people who may or may not even be on board with the idea. Y'all are adamant about non violence… you should love it. It's a whole new asset.
