It's about time

Hi, my name is Jason and I probably know many of you already. I haven't spent much time on forums but that will need to change now that I'm living in NH now. I'm mover #806, aww yea.

My plan is to travel New Hampshire and talk to any free stater who will talk to me, on video. I also want to highlight the various communities of activists living in New Hampshire. My goal is to learn a lot about New Hampshire in a short amount of time so I figured a video project would be a good way to get started. The working title is "The Free State Video Project." I'd appreciate any help you could lend, including sharing story ideas.

Every free stater has a story. It isn't easy to leave everything you've know to find solidarity in New Hampshire with people you've just met. I'd like to help tell as many of these stories as possible. If you'd like to participate reply here and/or e-mail me at jdtalley@gmail.com. We've released our first video of Richard Onley here http://fr33agents.tv/richard-onley/ so one down and 805 more to go.

Also, if you'd like to talk about Keene on camera that would be great. I'm interested in the reasons why folks select different places to live in New Hampshire. I'd also like to talk to local residents and government employees about their free state neighbors.

All of these projects, including other footage that I take will be published by http://Fr33Agents.TV, part of the Free Agents Activist Network.

Thanks everyone for being so welcoming.

Jason

It's good to have you make your home here in NH.  More noteworthy activists (especially video talent) moving here encourages more who are watching and waiting to do so.

Welcome to the Free Keene Forum - you'll find this forum and the attached calendar to be quite useful tools for putting ideas together and doing activism in the Keene area.  One wonders why people in other areas haven't done something similar.  I have suggested it, but they haven't done it.  Oh well, their loss.   8)

In fact, I was just inspired by thinking about your video project idea:  http://forum.freekeene.com/index.php?topic=3014.0

Jason! I didn't recognize your sn at first. Can't wait to see you in NH.

Greetings Jason!  Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to NH and FK, Jason.

Thanks Mike. I'm currently in Grafton to get my motorhome checked out, so i'm sure I'll see you this week. And again, great job with Free Keene Fest!

Thanks for the welcome, Ian. I agree that more New Hampshire communities should follow the lead of Free Keene to market themselves much more. As I'm traveling around I'll try to see what other folks are doing in this department.

I'm looking forward to the Free Keene Video you'll be putting together. Might as well make a commercial for all of the great work you and the Keene folks are doing.

Jason

A very belated welcome. Was this a recent decision. I thought you were going to be somewhat nomadic? Traveling across the country but making NH your home base? It's great to have you here.

Thanks Michael:

If by "somewhat" you mean limiting myself to New Hampshire, then yep

I'll probably want to hit the other 49 at some point but if I can survive the winter in a motorhome this will be home. I'll be here at least until then.
