Introduction

Hello all,

I've followed the Free Keene and FSP initiatives over the past year or so and found them to be very interesting, so much so that I'm considering the possibility of moving to NH myself in order to participate in advocacy.  I identify strongly with Libertarian Socialist traditions and find myself in agreement with many of the issues and topics I've read concerning the particular brand of activism that I've read about concerning Keene.  I am particularly attracted to its feasibility, the fault of most national advocacy campaigns being that they're nationally directed–where the power of the individual activist is diffused among millions.

Hitherto I've mostly lurked on these forums, but I feel it's about time that I start participating rather than merely observing.

Woo! Libertarian socialist! Welcome!

Welcome

If you understand allowing others to be free, welcome.  8)

Yeah, I saw in your roommate survey that you identified with libertarian socialism as well!  Always good to encounter someone who doesn't throw around "socialism" as some sort of monolithic, singularly definable, philosophy.

Nothing wrong with socialism between consenting adults . . .
