Did my first introduction get lost? Probably the way this new feature was implemented is my guess, my introduction post was in 2010.

Welcome back - check your PMs to get access to the Shire Society section where all kinds of old posts can be found.
When the new forum structure was introduced, all accounts that hadn’t been here in a while were set to the default access level. Once someone comes back after a long hiatus, they need to claim to have signed the Shire Declaration (which can be read at http://shiresociety.com ) and they’ll then have access to those legacy threads along with the Shire Society forums.

Nope, never made it out to NH (yet). I’m out in Texas now, saving up for retirement. I keep meaning to come check out New Hampshire for a Porcfest or some other event.
So hot here in Austin, can’t wait for my stint here to be up. I’m a fair weather person for sure.

Hey! My partner is from Austin. We live in Portsmouth NH now. It’s great. We travel to warm places in the winter. Might be nice to have a home in Austin and one in the Shire!

I don’t have a place in the shire, I’m on these forums since I’m interested in being a part of anarcho/voluntaryist online communities. I heard of this place/freekeene from youtube back in 2010.
I hope to visit NH at some point, our plan is to travel for a few years when we retire. Partly to see the world and enjoy ourselves, but also to figure out where we want to buy a house.
We don’t own in Austin, I think the real estate market isn’t where I want money stuck right now.
