My name is Robert Browne and I live in Philadelphia. I'm a Carpenter/Photographer/Bartender who believes that Anarchy is the only true liberty, however, it's a Minarchy that I advocate for. I've been an FSP participant for about a year and a half but have yet to convince my wife. When I went to Porcfest last year (Pics: http://robertbrowne.com/porcfest09) she was hoping that I would change my mind but of course, the opposite happened -my convictions were only cemented all the more. She's not completely closed-minded and has agreed not to be close-minded until she has at least checked it out up there first. As we both love beautiful, wooded, mountainous places I believe I have a good shot. I plan to bring her up for a camping trip this summer. Wish me luck.
Good idea - maybe bring her to Porcfest?
I'm not sure about that. She agrees, by and large, with most of the ideas of liberty but doesn't care much for group activities and always hates the idea of being considered a part of any group (she's a tough one, she is). It might be better if she met people in smaller doses. It's a little frustrating because I met so many people there that I know she would have liked but she's got it in her head that the average caller to FTL is the average liberty activist and as we all know, people who believe in liberty are only a portion of the callers. I believe that I have to sell her on NH and not on the people or the liberty movement happening there. I believe that she'll come to appreciate those parts of it later.

Awesome – and welcome! I bet your wife will come around after she visits. I've been a lot of places, and NH is the most beautiful by far.
Welcome! ;D
Welcome Robert!
