Hello friends!
This is my first official post here after months and months of lurking. I have committed myself to moving to Keene from Northeast Ohio and anticipate the move within a years time. What has prevented me from moving sooner was a work contract obligation and warming up my wife to the ideas of personal freedoms, liberty etc.
Everything seems to be coming together for my future plans now. My first journey to the free state was for the 2009 Liberty Forum, where I had the time of my life (just the chance to see FTL LIVE was worth every $). After having met people who understood the framework of what we are promoting, I knew that in order to get active from liberty I needed to be serious about relocating.
In October 2009 the wife and I toured NH. It was a great getaway. We landed in Manchester, and saw Nashua, Seabrook and Hampton the first day. Second day was spent in Portsmouth and Harbor Trail. Third day was lakes region and white mts. Then we came down to Keene. Last day was return to MHT. The purpose of the trip was to let my wife see how liveable NH is, and to let her see where our new life will be in Keene. I brought her to Kurt Hoffman's candlelight vigil so she could understand there are people like us who just wanna live free. Now she says "when we move to NH" instead of "if".
At this point in time I look forward to meeting more activists are making friendships that will last a lifetime. I am volunteering at Liberty Forum, and am making plans to attend Porcfest.
