Inspired

I found your site via the RidleyReport on YouTube.  What you all are doing is truly an inspiration.  I hope to learn from you as to what I can do in my community to help people become more aware of their rights they are giving away everyday.

  I think the key to success will be, (and I don't know if you have overcome this yet or not), but the key will be that many different organizations who usually find themselves on opposite sides of issue, MUST come to the aid of those who they disagree with on important issues.    For example.  Those for the right to choose, pro-lifers, anti-drug, ant-drug law, Christians, atheists, agnostics, straight, gay, male, female, young and old.   For decades we have been pitted  against one another.  This divide and conquer approach has been successful for the government in the past.  We must put aside our differences and come together as one.

  we must be able to exercise our rights in a way that does not escalate, that promotes initial respect for other humans just past the point that they disrespect us.  Always taking the high road, while standing up for one another.  I visualize us coming to the aid of those with whom we disagree with on some political issues, yet standing up for each others rights even on issues that we are opposed with.

  You have inspired me and I hope to learn from you and I hope to be an asset to you as well.

Cin. Oh

Welcome!

I just happen to have written a little lyric on the topic you mention:

WHAT'S THE MATTER
COPYRIGHT 2009 by Sam A. Robrin or whoever the hell it is who writes these things. Go ahead and use it, but if you make a little money on it, I want some!

[Chant:]  Rich man, poor man, beggarman, thief,
Doctor, lawyer, merchant,
chief

It's not a matter of rich or poor,
Of red or blue, of peace or war;
Not a matter of white or black,
Of moving forward, or turning back;

Of Christian, Muslim, Pagan, Jew,
And all the myriad others, too;
Not a matter of gay or straight–
It's all of us against the State.

Up/down, yin/yang, former/latter,
Right/left–it's all mindless chatter.
Stop the squabbling–here's the matter:
Government keeps getting fatter.

No matter of management and labor;
Of "Go away" or "Love thy neighbor";
Of science majors or liberal arts;
Of soul or body, of minds or hearts;

No matter of child, adult, or teen;
Of fast-food burgers or haute cuisine;
Complacency or discontent–
It's us against the government.

End your snide, divisive patter!
Calm the camouflaging clatter!
Only one dispute should matter:
States exist to make us scatter.

Ignore the myriad petty fusses–
There aren't that many thems or usses.
Power conquers by providing
Myths to foster our dividing.

It's not a matter of greed or charity,
Somber mood or high hilarity,
Not rebellion or conformity,
But innocence against State enormity.

Welcome.  While I wish you luck in your area, this movement works because we are attracting people of like mind to the same area.  It's unlikely you'll be able to duplicate our efforts, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Meantime, if you love liberty (learn more at http://new.freekeene.com ), please consider a move to Keene.  http://move.freekeene.com

Welcome DrCR. I hope things go well for you in OH, but please consider visiting NH for the Liberty Forum in Feb/March or Porcupine Freedom Festival in the summer. You might be amazed at how many like-minded liberty lovers are here and worked - together, individually, and in groups - to promote, restore, and educate about liberty.

Welcome and thanks, Dr.

What do you think is required for polarization to end?

Welcome Dr. It's cool to see that this is spreading farther than NH. Good luck starting up in Ohio. My brother used to live out there and he said it was a pretty strict place.
