I found out about this site, and FSM, through the member "freethinkie", and her problems with her local district court. I have had problems also (w/ my local township code enforcement officer), but at the time knew nothing of this site or FSM. I plan on staying here in Michigan until my last graduates in 2014, but it's up in the air to move. Although I spent six years in the Navy, and have been to a number of states (NY, RI, FL, VA, NC, MA, TX, CA, OH, MS, IA, IL, WI, PA, OK, AL, GA, TN, KY, WV, IN), and lived in MI, NY, VA and FL) and countries (Egypt, Israel, Japan, Morocco, Spain, Great Britian, Italy, Hong Kong, Austrailia, New Zealand, Tonga, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, USVI (U.S. Virgin Islands), Greece, Norway, Netherlands, Tunisia, Turkey, Philippines, Canada), New Hampshire is not out of the question, but I don't want to move to a place colder than here.
Welcome to the Shire Society forum. Wow, you've been everywhere. Well there's one great reason to move to NH if you love liberty: Lots of other liberty lovers are moving here. The liberty lovers are leaving everywhere else to come here.
I've Been Everywhere Johnny Cash Lyrics
Marcus,
Thank you for the welcome! I'm not a big fan of JC, but he does have some great music and great lyrics! (I'm more into rock, and have seen a number of rock bands; however, I also have tickes to see Eric Church and Madonna). Yep, I've been a lot of places, most while in the Navy. And I must say I enjoyed your conversation about "recording the police"!
Hello and welcome. I am a FL native and cold was also a concern for me. To me it's well worth it to be around people who love liberty and are active.
Welcome CadillacPat!
Yes, the cold is a big concern as I am also a native of Florida, but I have been here 7 months and it isn't too bad. Of course, the winter has not hit as of yet, but the weather now is colder than Florida gets in a lot of places. When I moved from Tampa, it was 80 and when I got to NH (end of Feb) it was in the 30's. Big difference, but not so bad! I hope you at least can come for a visit!
Peace & Love,
Emberlea
