How long do people think the US will survive?

I found the following headline interesting.
Regardless of which states might secede from the US, or when that might happen, how long to people think that the US, as the United States, is likely to survive… regardless of how many states it might encompass.

I don’t think any states will ever be able to secede. Many have tried (Texas, NH, Hawaii—that I know of), and all that happens is the federal government just ignores them and their desires and just continues business as usual. Plus, the legacy media won’t get behind it since their owners want the federal govt.

Also, the Civil War was a massive war where a sickening number of men died trying to secede, and they lost. The good guys lost. The bad guys wrote the history books since then. So, again, on two different levels it has failed.

And you will never be able to get rid of a thing by using the thing. So you will never get rid of statism by using statism. Do you understand why that would be?

If statism ends, it will be because too many people left its purview and systems of control, abandoning it all and jumping to alternative parallel systems. The state in that case will simply wither and die away with a pitiful mew of despair that no one will be around listening to it to hear or care.

I do not think it will survive intact for much longer.
