[size=11pt][color=purple]Hi - Posting here first as I was away for awhile and had to make a new account. Have been to Keene 5 times and had hoped to move there by now, but ran into some problems when my property sale fell thru last fall. If it works out this year, I may be set to make the move as I have nothing left to stay for, no debt tie-ups, and no job here (I told them to take this job and shove it haha). Also, I don't mind the weather, I was planning to move to a cold place anyways. ;D
While I had hoped to get a home there, I have come to realize that with my very low income level it be not be possible to buy a place and then be able to keep it due to the astronomical property "rent" to the gov there. Perhaps I can find a small, private dwelling to rent for the long term and get by with something part-time. I am interested in alternative currencies, food-not-bombs, infoshops (anarcho-community centers), urban art, and asking questions! thank you for providing this forum.[/color][/size]

Actually I have been disillusioned in some ways, but not from anything that anyone had said. Soon as I can in a position to get back up there, you will probably see me again! I'll be checking out the nearby areas like maybe Marlborough.

Cool! We'll be neighbors. It lacks the convenience of being able to walk everywhere I want to go, but I love the privacy. It's still obscenely convenient to Keene, though it does require a VERY short drive. I'm looking into a recumbent trike.
