Why are you being so mean? Delete my post then. I thought this was like minded people here but it really hurts to have my hard work of promoting Agorism, Austrian Economics, and Freedom called spam. I did introduce myself and said why Im here. I am an Agorist here to promote an event people might be interested. If you're going to be hateful towards that instead of help spread the message than so be it. I did a Google search for anarchist or ancap. That's the only question I didn't answer.
It's generally bad form to come into a forum and start advertising something with your first post.
If you did not come here with an interest in the Shire or joining our community, why would anyone really be interested in the event your are promoting?
The appropriate method would be to have introduced yourself and gotten settled, maybe posting on some threads or starting some, then at some point posting about your event. That would not have set off red flags.
Your approach made you out to be a spammer.
It did feel very spammy because it's just not on topic for this forum and it's your very first post. You don't actually seem interested in what the forum is all about.

This is private property and the rules are very simple. If someone comes in here with a spam post as their first post and clearly hasn't read the rules, I'm not going to ask them to tell them more about the product they are pushing.
Had the person registered and posted a proper intro then perhaps mentioned what they are doing, it might have gone better for them. Instead they just wanted to use our forum to promote.
