Hi, I’m Mark, I found this forum and I though I’d try it out. For one, I’m having a hard time finding things to do in the area for & with my son Matthew. Matt was in an accident some 13 years ago in which he was left in a coma for 7 months. Life for our family has been hard although my wife & I got through it all because of our love for Matthew and we had each other. Well, my wife passed just over 2 months ago and has been missed tremendously by my whole family! I have 2 other boys {young men} and a very beautiful daughter! I’m sure everyone could understand that no one misses her more than I! Anyhow, all of my attention {for lack of a better word} is on my son Matthew and how bored he is and how hard I’ve tried thinking, asking around and coming up fairly empty on what I can do for him on the funds I have left after paying all that everything costs. Anyhow, I didn’t just come into this forum just for that. I also want to be the best father I can be for not just him but all of my children & grand children. And really, I am quite lonely and needed to reach out somewhere even if it is just pleasant conversation on a really decent Forum centering on the place I live, New Hampshire!!!
Welcome. How did you find the forum?
Hi there! I just googled forums in Keene, N.H. and there it was. New @ this kinda stuff and needed something, somewhere to communicate thoughts, feelings and hoping to get some info on things for my son and I to do. I’m almost 54 and Matt is 32 although @ times like 13 to 15 if ya know what I mean. He has a traumatic brain injury and is nearly a quad being wheel chaired and having partial use of one arm and one leg. The poor guy gets bored to death. Thanks for the welcome!!!
