Hey

Hello.
Interestingly enough, I found "Free Keene" by typing "Keene" into the facebook search box. I will be moving to Keene by the end of this month.  Myself personally, my past is riddled with AR work. Following highschool, I started and ran a local NY AR group for 2 years. Then I went to college and took a more institutional route in animal rights. Afterwords I went to work for an International Animal Rights organization located in DC. I am now moving to Keene to focus on professional development and continuing my education.

Nonetheless I find this website intriguing. Though, I am not quite sure what to expect. I assume once I'm granted access to the complete forums I'll have a better idea.

Welcome.  I appreciate and have loved animals - right now I have a kitty that spent its life in a shelter in my home.  You'll find that many around here want to protect animals without using the coercion of the violent monopoly of government.  That tends to be a common theme.

Whether they or even we human animals have rights or not is a whole other matter.  I imagine that could touch off quite a debate around here.  Personally, I think rights are a nice idea and should be respected and as far as they are respected, reciprocated.

You should find some interesting discussions here that may provoke useful thoughts.  Enjoy!

Welcome!

I am a huge proponent of AR myself.  I look forward to participating in discussions with you on the matter  :Z

Thought ya meant AR as in AR-15…

Welcome!

There's a fantastic vegan restaurant in Keene.  I'm not vegan but I still eat there sometimes just because it's good.  I'll go there with you sometime if you like.

Hey thanks.

Yeah. I heard about some Vegan Buffet run by the local 7th Adventists. I'm definitely stoked on this.

Furthermore, definitely looking forward to Keene and to see what it offers.

Glad to see another vegan who is involved in the FSP movement, I am not up there yet, but I do plan on visiting soon from NYC.

I think I will actually first get the chance to meet Michele 7 when she comes down to NYC soon, then she offered to introduce me to Keene when I get up there, so I look forward to that.
