My Name is Joe. I am 23 years old from the Maryland suburbs of DC. I hope to be moving to Manchester within the next 8 weeks or so. I have probably been a libertarian my whole life, but I didn't really start exploring just how libertarian I was until about '07. I consider myself an Austro-libertarian, I frequent mises.org, have taken classes at their online academy, and listen to their large media archive frequently. I earned my B.S. in marketing from the University of Maryland in '08, but it hasn't done me a lick of good. Too many gov't jobs in DC, and I refuse to work in gov't related fields any longer (had short stints with a military contracting company, and on a dept of education contract :( )
I think I might have found a roommate that is also a young college grad that is looking to move to Manchester this summer, but I would be open to a third roommate and looking for a bigger place, in case anyone is interested. Would appreciate any info people might have on what parts of the city are the most urban. I haven't had the chance to visit, but from google earth, Manchester doesn't seem to have too many urban parts. I would want to be within walking distance of as much stuff as possible.
I have the same username on the FSP forum, and I heard about Free Keene from FTL (shocker)
Welcome!

Welcome!
Hello and welcome. We can't help much with Manchester stuff around here, but good luck! If you're looking for a walkable city, Keene was named one of the most walkable by walkable.org.
Moving to Manchester on Tuesday. After I get settled into that community, I do look forward to visiting Keene
