My name is not Basil, but I was astonished someone didn't take this name already. My actual name is Corey and I do not think violence is a suitable solution for societies problems.
The actual Basil Marceaux is a hilarious candidate for governor in Tennessee.

I have always been interested in the Free State project but the Free Keene is more up my alley. The main issue I have with the Free State project is that it seems like an oxymoron.
I am currently an economics and history student and do hope, at some point, to be able to move up there with you guys. Murray Rothbard is my favorite writer along with Ludwig von Mises, Walter Block, and a few others.
On a more culturally inclined level, I am a film buff. I love movies from all era's and all countries. I would start naming off films I like but I will make this short.
I read occasionally. Favorite fiction authors include Crichton, Neil Stevenson, and many others.
I enjoy discussions on almost any subject relating to any of the things I have mentioned.
Hello all
Very cool. Welcome!
Hi Corey. I'm also kind of a film buff (was watching a new movie every day for a long time, but I've cut back), and read a lot of fiction (mostly sci-fi and horror): mostly authors from small presses and short stories, but I also love King and Palahnuik, and have read Snow Crash by Stephenson, and several Crichton books (Sphere is my favorite).
Hello and welcome!
OMG I want to move to Texas just to vote for that guy.

Tennessee. But Texas has its share of bumbling buffoonery, too.
Ursula K. Le Guin, Issac Asimov, Garrett P. Serviss… authors I have appreciated.
