Hello,
As the subject states my name is Adam M. Mueller and I never really like writing bios or backgrounds about myself but I'll try. So I'm from Wisconsin, though I live in a RV called MARV at the moment. I lived in WI my whole life and for the last year or so, as my ideals became more radical (according to some) I felt more and more alone/crazy back home. My family and friends (for the most part) don't seem to share the same interest and passion for a peaceful evolution as I do. Though that doesn't mean I keep my mouth shut when back home, just that they are not as willing to be active as I am. Which is the one thing that lead me to contact Jason and Pete about Motorhome Diaries.com.
I remember hearing/seeing things about the Free State Project from time to time but it wasn't till my time with MHD that I really got to understanding what it was all about. I have only been to Keene once and attended PorcFest last year but that was all I needed to know that Keene is where I want to live. Though I still have issues with winter, I know I'm from WI but really would like some time off from snow. My plan currently is to move to Keene this coming Spring (Liberty Forum?) and stay through the summer at least.
When not advocating a Voluntary Society I play poker. Its quite a different lifestyle and I'm disappointed to hear that there are not many casino's near Keene. Though maybe we (I) can start up a poker/social club when in Keene, I also would like to start a coffee/baked goods store but who knows. It all depends on some decisions I have to make in the next few months. Playing poker for a living requires a lot of time, being an activist also requires time especially if the thugs kidnap you and lock you in a cage. So I may be making a career change here soon. Or for the first few years I'll be in Keene for the spring/summer months (doing a bunch of different things) and AZ/NV in the winter months (playing poker), hopefully after a few seasons back and forth I will start some business and continue my activism/business in Keene.
Other than that I'm guessing I'm a lot like you folks, easy going, laid back, mad as hell at the state and ready to live in a community with a strong support base. Keep up the good work and I'll see ya soon. There are a few things I didn't mention but why bore you with my life, if you wanna know something ask. Thanks again.
Cool - welcome to the forum!
I happen to know that Adam is also a good cook.
It does get flipping cold up here, but the people make it all worth it!

I'm pretty big into poker – sign me up! We can play with junk silver And hey, on the occasional long weekend, there's always foxwoods, if we feel the need to get raked to death. ;D "Lifestyle" eh? So I guess you're a pro - that's cool. I turn a profit, but I'm not going to be quitting my day job any time soon.
Oh, and awesome job with MHD, I love you guys' work.
Awesome, welcome to the forums Adam. I grew up in Milwaukee, the weather is pretty much identical.
I would not consider myself a pro like the ones you see on TV. But it has been my main source of income for the last few years. Its quite the grind and has many ups and downs, difference is how you deal with those. I look forward to meeting you and playing some pots together. Foxwoods would be a good time, though I think it would be good to start a game in or near Keene. College kids always think they can play LOL.
@Ian thanks for the compliment, tacos are easy. I'll invite you over (where ever that is once in Keene) for pork tenderloin, now that's a treat.
Good news - there has been poker and dice games illegally at the last few Free Keene Fests - they have been completely ignored by police. Rivera gave me a ticket once WHILE I was playing dice, for organizing the event. Charges later dropped. The gambling participants have been totally untouched.

I swear your pointing this out so I move sooner. I keep pushing it ahead and at this rate I will be flying in next week. That is sweet, so I can start a poker hall when I get there.
Great to have you here on the forum, can't wait to see you back in Keene.
sweet, another mover from the roadtrip settling in Keene for a final destination
Excellent. I look forward to meeting you.

There is speculation that we've been left alone due to low stakes (pennies, nickles, dimes), but it's all equally "illegal", so the gambling thing has been a major success, in my opinion.
It would be nice to see it taken to the next level though.
Welcome, Adam. You're the one "MHD guy" I haven't met yet.
There are a number of casual poker players here, some quite good, and there are some regular poker night events. There are also a few ex-professional players.
I look forward to meeting you.
Welcome! ;D

The “out” the cops are using here is called de minimis non curat lex—literally, “so small the law doesn’t care.”
Looking forward to your arrival, Adam. Welcome!
