Howdy to all. I've been following along with FTL for the past 2 months and I can't believe I'd never heard of this group of people before! It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one who believes in self-ownership. My girlfriend and I are really hoping to move to the area in the next year or so. Only thing stopping us now is her finishing her degree and my job. But we're hoping to come out to PorcFest this summer at the least to get an idea of the area and the activism.
Hope to see you guys as soon as we can!
Welcome, PerArdua. My first PorcFest was this last one a couple months ago (even though I already moved to NH). It was awesome!
Have you and your girlfriend already signed the FSP statement of intent?
I look forward to meeting you when you move or visit.
Welcome! ;D
Welcome!
Welcome and congrats on your decision!
I just filled out the statement of intent and my girlfriend ought to do the same in the next few days.
I'm curious as to what the most active part of the state is. It seems like most of the movers are situated around Manchester and obviously Keene. Are these the areas best to move to get involved?
Welcome. There are quite a few people from western Washington here in Keene.

Seems like it. Concord is also very busy with politics stuff.
Welcome mate! I'm from Maple Valley myself.
Howdy,
I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula in a little town called Port Townsend (I don't know if you've heard of it). I also went to school at WWU in Bellingham. I'm currently living in Keene and it would be great to have some more people from western Washington around.
i'm from portland, OR (pdx), but that is practically washington. i could have walked to the border from my apartment in about 12 minutes. just sucks that the first thing you see once you enter washington from portland is the 'crab shack' and a hooters.
Welcome!
I moved from Seattle myself.
