Hi everyone!
I'm Txoria from sunny San Diego, CA. Currently a liberty loving college student and potential mover.
I had an interesting and enlightening trip to find out about this forum and the great activists in NH. I started from the follow-the-leader democrat group, not too interested in morals, ideology or politics in general. Feeling that things were unjust for the poor and such, I began reading socialist and communist literature, talking on their forums and made friends with some people of that mindset. Over time I felt something wasn't right and became more interested in the ideas of anarchism and complete liberty.
Searching for podcasts related to anarchism, I randomly came across Free Talk Live. I didn't give it much attention at first, but one long bus ride listening to the program hooked me. Ever since then I listen to FTL all the time, began checking out various liberty-related podcasts, videos, literature and other media. I decided to finally register to the forums and stop being a lurker to perhaps join in discussion or help out in some way.
Nowadays, the FSP is sounding more and more like a great idea to me and I'm hoping to have the time and money to come up and check out all of what's been going on up there.
To all you great people, keep up the amazing work!
welcome! Sounds like you didn't come to any of this from the "right" at all, that's pretty bitchin'. What are you studying/how are you liking college?
I guess I originally came from the (un)humanitarian standpoint, thinking: "for the good of the many." The "left" seemed to be the right direction with that kind of thought. Eventually I saw the state itself as the main detractor and headed towards anarcho-syndicalism or anarcho-capitalism. I went even farther to the ideas of full anarchism, but it seemed lonely.
That's when I found out about the liberty movement with more level-headed, understandable and moral ideas. Now I always get in arguments with socialist and anarcho-syndicalist/communist friends because they still believe in violent revolution and all that. However, we get along great and none of our arguments are in real anger or anything.
I am currently studying French and European Studies, but I originally went into that with the intent of working for the United Nations (for the greater good). Just my being on this forums should give you a hint as to why I'm thinking of changing my studies to something else.
Well hello back from sunny Keene, NH! 8)
It rains a lot here sometimes. We just got out of a cold front, heading back into the heater for the next three days. So I can't say that SD is always sunny.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for the greeting JJ!
Welcome, and congratulations.
Thanks! At the moment, I'm trying to catch up with everything going on up in NH. I am really pleased with the activism I've seen from PumpkinFest up till now. The most appealing thing to me is the emphasis on peace and understanding.
