Hello everyone.
I am a student in Boston (I study Computer Science at Northeastern University), and I figured that being a reasonable drive from Keene, it was time I started getting involved in the activism there. The amount of statists surrounding me in Boston is very frustrating.
I first found out about Free Keene because I'm a regular listener to Free Talk Live.
I first got involved with the Voluntaryist movement in 2004 when Jason was Crasher-in-Chief of Bureaucrash. I helped run their Teensploitation campaign for awhile. While on a six month internship in San Diego, CA I was very active with their Young Americans for Liberty chapter and helped coordinate multiple successful events.
I still have a few years left until graduation but I am resolved to leave Boston as soon as I graduate, making the possibility of moving to Keene realistic. I just want to live wherever I'm involved in a community that shares my values and is as determined to live them as I am.
A great example of why I don't like Boston is my inability to convince anyone to play the City Council Drinking game with me.
in Boston, everyone's playing the drinking game, especially the politicians. You think that's water in their glasses? (Vodka)
coming from Salisbury, MA originally, I feel your pain. Come as soon as you can. Keene is an awesome place.
Hey Kerrgi, welcome to the fun
