Greetings

…from Topanga Canyon, California. I'm originally from Scotland, so I know a thing or two about statism. I love the United States - the land, the people, the constitution. I truly believe this country remains the last best hope for liberty on earth.

I've been 20 years in California, was in Boston for a couple years before that, when I came to know Keene and south-western NH quite well. I registered to vote as a Libertarian when I first naturalized, and remained a member of the Libertarian Party until it nominated the authoritarian Bob Barr in 08. (Still can't quite believe they did that). Became interested in the work of Jason Sorens, and became aware of the FSP. I haven't taken the pledge, but I'm seriously thinking about it. It'd be a big step as I have two kids in middle-school and, realistically, a move would be a few years off for me. I wouldn't take the pledge if I didn't intend to follow through.

I'm intrigued by Robin Hooding - a very simple, very pure, very brilliant idea. Should be highly exportable!

Welcome!  Robin Hooding should be exportable, but most people don't have the number of dedicated activists in their area to handle the task.  Hence, the Free State Project.

Hope you'll take the pledge and join the fun.
