Hello, all. I've been following some of the activism happening in Keene through this website, Free Talk Live and the Obscured Truth Network. I'm eagerly excited to move up and help the activist community grow, but I find myself in the in between. My friends pretty much shunned me in the area for expressing my opinions on issues and being vocal when others just go along, but I realize that soon I'll be around others that share similarities in philosophy. The only thing that I'm left with that's holding me back is my current job. I hold a position as a web designer, and although I can most likely find work doing something else near Keene, I am afraid to up and move without a stronger portfolio or others to join and start a business with. If there are others in Keene that share interests in Web Design and Development that will be willing to work towards a business, I am up to move sooner rather than later. I already appreciate the soon-to-meet community of activists in Keene and my main goal to joining this forum is to meet others that are willing to work towards liberty and a free market.
Thanks,
Valish
Welcome Valish!
With all the interest and expertise in web developing around here I would have expected a shop to open a while back. So far there are lone wolves, but no concentration of talent. Maybe we just need a new person to mention it. You know, like when the sky is saturated but there are no clouds till one outside particle comes to precipitate the whole thing into a storm. Not that you are a particle, of course.
Welcome!

I still would not know who to call if I wanted my website redone.

Ron Helwig?
Anyway, that's the sort of work that lends itself well to telecommuting, or better, working for yourself. See what you can arrange with your existing employer with respect to working remotely.
