I just wanted to introduce myself. My wife, Mandie, and 5 year old son, Roman, will be moving to the Keene area hopefully by Jan 2019. I met up with some liberty-loving activists in Keene last Sunday and Ian was kind enough to suggest this forum.
I hope to meet more people and maybe get some insights from others that have made the move.

Welcome to the forum! What made you decide on moving here, and to Keene in particular?
Thanks. We were thinking about NY state, the Catskill region to get closer to nature and escape the police-state of northern NJ. Because Iām the only child of now aging parents, I wanted to be close enough to drive easily. Then I was turned onto the FSP and the state of NH and it seemed like it had everything we were looking for and the Keene area is only an additional 1.5 hours away from my folks in NJ. I also like Peterborough as well and some of the surrounding towns.
The biggest problem with Keene is the property taxes.
