Hello everyone! I'm a Florida native looking into making the move by myself, sometime after PorcFest. If all goes well it may even be asap afterwards. Some of you may know me from FB, as that is how I learned of FreeKeene. I'll be looking to possibly find transpo to and a place to crash so that I can check out Keene and the activism community there after PF for a bit.

Just FYI, since I didn't mention in my first post, I can pay with FRN's for transpo and a place to stay while visiting after PF. So, if anyone has any ideas or knows someone that might be able to accommodate any of those plans, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

So if I got this right, your plans are to go to Porcfest, and then move? or visit? Keene to check out the activism and on and on for a bit?
To try to throw ideas at you, like, assuming someone else knew their residency situation that far ahead; someone planning to visit a set period of time, could be accomodated differently (or at all) than someone who's in to staying immediately for the long-term.
Hello and thanks! Nice to meet you! Yes, I'm looking to do the visit thing after PF lol. As much as it would be great to stay, I've gotta tie up my situation here in an appropriate manner since a friend and her 3 year old daughter are relying on me for a room to rent. I'd like to see Keene the most but wouldn't mind checking out a couple other areas and all that good stuff, if possible. I'd say that I can probably stay anywhere up to about two weeks after PorcFest.

I just saw a post of another rookie looking for transpo and a temp place to stay, so I wanted to mention that I am also looking into adds of places to rent by the week and all other options. I just wanted to mention my intentions here because I regularly keep in touch with some of you already and I'd hope that I don't seem like such a stranger to even more of the community when the time comes. Especially, after PF. Of course, I'd much rather stay with someone involved in the activism work than a stranger myself but just getting and being there in any possible way is my priority. I don't really use regular e-mail, but if anyone else wants to add me to FB as Jessica Voluntaryist, I'd love to get to know as many liberty lovers as possible in the meantime!

Watch out… folks have been known to visit for PorcFest, and never leave…
