Thanks for admitting me. I am a resident of NY that was recently arrested in Chesterfield for possession (about 2 grams). My purpose is to get a feel for the climate in Keen District Court and the Prosecutor's Office for when I appear next month. Thank you!
If you are planning on not pleaing guilty, you can likely get some supporters out. Welcome.
Thank you. That's what I need to decide. I was hoping to approach the Prosecutor before court to see if a plea agreement could be reached. Any thoughts on that are much appreciated.
How do you feel about spending a little time in jail?
Well, not so "Keene" (ok, sorry about that) on the idea. It really isn't an option. Here in NY, possession of less than 25g is a civil violation (like a traffic ticket) and I realize that is what your group needs to see happen in NH, but a misdemeanor conviction might prevent me from doing business as a sales rep to some hospitals and nursing homes. I'm just trying to get a feel for how the Prosecutor's office is in dealing with people. Are they at all reasonable?
