Give us Jobs - We will come

Hello all.

My Husband (without a marriage license) and I are currently unemployed and looking to move.  We are currently in Kansas City, originally from Long Island.  We moved a year ago looking for a better life, but haven't found jobs.  We are both Libertarian/Anarcho-Capitalist.  I think that what you guys are doing is really great, and it would be closer to our family and friends on Long Island.  So, if somebody can employ one or both of us we could come out there and help with the effort.  I don't know if there is a dedicated job board or something, so if there is please point me to it.  Here are our skills:

Paul  26-years-old, some college
has experience doing office work, sales, retail, managed a furniture store.  Good computer skills.  Will do pretty much anything, within reason.

Liz 24-years-old, some college (computer science, child development)
has experience with retail, medical assistant in pediatric and chiropractic, day care center, receptionist, office assistant, commercial sign company project manager, some computer programming skills, computer building and repair, fast typing speed.  Would love to work as a Nanny.

Let us know if anybody has any use for us.  Thanks!

Welcome.  If we could just hand out jobs, a lot of people would come.  Unfortunately, most of us aren't wealthy enough to be in such a position.

As it is, the people who come here are willing to do what it takes, even if that means working at jobs that aren't ideal.  Jobs are available in Keene, but it will be up to you to acquire them.  We can help by posting them when we come across them.  Have you been to the jobs forum?  There are useful links there to job websites and opportunities.  http://jobs.freekeene.com

Ha! are you asking for a handout?
I wish I was in a position to hire people.
However my global empire of shooting range / pizza bistro hasn't taken off yet.

Then again, I think the concept of "job" is almost as big a scam as the concept of "government."

Figure out how to be useful.  That's more profitable than being an employee.

Another saying I like: "all you have to do is figure out how to get everyone in town to give you a dollar."

In Keene it might be five dollars.

it's very difficult to get a job so far away.  perhaps you could pester your old haunts in New York to get a job you've held previously to try to get back on your feet with the aid of family and friends?  visiting New Hampshire to test the water for crazies would be easier, too.  and if Kansas City ain't where you two are happy or able to 'make it,' then regardless of where you guys end up, I hope it's in a better location/job market.
